Currently, over 50% of the U.S. workforce is working from home, and this percentage is growing steadily. Even with all of the amazing benefits to remote work, like better work/life balance, increased productivity, and less commuting, remote work also comes with the challenges of social isolation and loneliness.
Like most things, the shift to a virtual workplace meetings comes with pros and cons.
Pros: you can wear pajama pants. Cons: you’ll probably find it harder to focus. Adjusting to virtual meetings and making sure you’re getting the most out of them takes conscious effort and a little bit of a strategy.
